Hope, Health and Empowerment
New Dawn Foundation was founded in 2024 with the goal of improving the health and livelihood of women (and children) living in Internally Displaced Person (IDP) camps. We plan to support women (and children) living in IDP camps by creating awareness on healthy practices, providing primary health care items and empowering women through skill acquisition.

We are dedicated to improving the health and livelihoods of women and children residing in Internally Displaced Person (IDP) camps. We are committed to creating sustainable solutions that address immediate health needs and empower individuals for long-term success.
We envision a world where every woman and child in IDP camps has access to essential health services, education, and opportunities for economic empowerment. Our aim is to transform lives, foster self-reliance, and create resilient communities.
What we do
Healthcare Support and Awareness – We provide essential medical supplies, including first-aid kits, sanitary products, and medications, while also conducting health awareness programs on hygiene, maternal health, and disease prevention. By equipping IDPs with knowledge and resources, we empower them to improve their well-being and prevent common health risks.
Direct Cash Assistance – Many displaced families struggle to meet basic needs due to limited income opportunities. Our direct cash assistance program provides financial support for essential expenses such as food, healthcare, and education. This approach gives families autonomy while strengthening local economies and reducing financial insecurity.
Empowerment Through Skill Acquisition – To promote long-term self-reliance, we offer vocational training in tailoring, baking, hairdressing, and small-scale farming. By equipping IDPs with practical skills and linking them to mentorship opportunities, we foster economic independence and reduce dependency on aid.
Sustainable and Climate-Responsive Infrastructure – We integrate environmentally friendly solutions into our recovery efforts by installing solar-powered water pumps for clean drinking water, off-grid solar systems for essential services, and solar streetlights to improve safety and enable community activities after dark. Through these initiatives, we not only address urgent needs but also promote climate resilience and environmental stewardship.
