Empowering Lives: Relief and
Resilience for Internally Displaced Persons

This outreach activity, held on December 27, 2024, at the Malaysian Garden IDP Camp in Apo, Abuja, aimed to promote primary health care and healthy living practices among women and children. The initiative reached 60 families, including 48 children, with a strong focus on the importance of childhood immunizations, maternal health, and hygiene. The session included a health and hygiene workshop, WASH demonstrations, and interactive discussions to identify pressing community challenges such as poor access to clean water, inadequate healthcare, and food insecurity.

A total of 55 hygiene kits were distributed to participants, helping to equip families with essential items to improve their daily well-being.
