Women’s Empowerment Programme 2026:

The New Dawn Foundation for Displaced Persons successfully organized the Women’s Empowerment Programme 2026 at New Kuchingoro IDP Camp, Games Village, Abuja. The programme was designed to empower internally displaced women by equipping them with entrepreneurial knowledge and providing Business Start-up Cash Grants to support sustainable income-generating activities.

Based on the outcome of a comprehensive assessment process, including site visits, stakeholder interviews, and the evaluation of over 100 entrepreneurs, four (4) women who demonstrated genuine need, commitment, and strong potential to successfully utilize the grant were selected as beneficiaries and awarded Business Start-up Cash Grants to establish or expand their businesses
