Health Awareness, First Aid Training and Medical Outreach

The Health Awareness, First Aid Training, and Medical Outreach was conducted to promote healthier and safer living conditions among internally displaced persons (IDPs) at Wassa IDP Camp. The outreach focused on empowering women and children with essential health knowledge and practical first aid skills through shared learning and demonstrations.

Over 100 families were reached during the outreach.

Key focus areas included first aid management for common emergencies such as seizures, snake bites, dog bites, maternal health issues, breastfeeding practices, family planning, and basic nutrition. The activity aimed to improve community resilience, reduce preventable health risks, and encourage responsible health practices.
